As the only pipe maker in the world, Tom Spanu created the high-quality "cork pipes" in a combination of Sardinian bruyere wood and the bark of cork oaks. Supported by his family members, Tom Spanu was able to carry out the entire process of creating his unique items, from digging up the bruyere wood roots and selecting the cork bark to the last touch.

Hardly any pipe maker has such a comprehensive knowledge of his material and has internalized the essence of the raw material as he. With craftsmanship and dedicated care, Tom Spanu gave each of his pipes a character that was organically grown to give the impression of being made from a massive piece of cork oak. Each pipe created a unique piece of special charisma. So the cork surface is robust and insulating, the weight of the pipe is low despite medium to large filling volume and the core is made of selected Bruyère wood.
